Elizabeth (Liz) VanLeeuwen- Atelierista
Hello, my name is Liz VanLeeuwen.(It’s Dutch)
I grew up East of Salem in Mill City, OR. Growing up in the Santiam Canyon, I love to enjoy the outdoors.
After 20 years in healthcare, I decided it was time for a career change and to pursue my original passion; teaching in an Early Childhood setting. I’m currently working on my CDA certificate (Child Development Associates) through Kaleidoscope and Portland State University. Alongside art, I have a lot of hobbies:
I enjoy participating in The Rocky Horror shadow cast here in Salem, fishing, spending time with my Husband and my 2 Dobermans, Gary and Ruby. I also dabble in clothing crafts and candy making.

I am Christina, I have been working in Education for over 20 years, from running my own at home daycare, children’s yoga instructor, to Elementary school librarian, and now to fulltime Primary Teacher. I have an associates degree from the University of Wyoming (GO POKES!) in Early Childhood Development and a Bachelors degree in Library Media Science. I have lived in Oregon for 4 years now, moving from the cold state of Wyoming. I believe that reading is the most important part of the day.
Bre Jennings – Primary Classroom Guide
Hello! My name is Bre, I have been officially working with children for 5 years through the Salem Keizer School District. Due to my mom being a primary school teacher I have been unofficially working with children much longer than that. I am currently working on my Bachelors in Early Childhood Studies through Western Oregon University where I will move on to getting my Masters in Special Education. When I’m not working with children I enjoy reading, going to the beach, and hanging out with my friends.
