Kaleidoscope Community School
Nurturing In The Reggio Emilia Tradition
Kaleidoscope Community School is hosted on the beautiful Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Salem campus. Children engage with their environment by tending the garden, exploring the woods, feeding the school animals! Including our school pig Dottie and our Primary classroom cat Ralph.
At Kaleidoscope, the teacher is a co-learner with the child. A simple question can lead to a deep learning adventure as we jointly explore the facets of arts and crafts, science, cooking, gardening, story telling, music making, and more.
Kaleidoscope Community School nurtures children in the Reggio Emilia tradition which means that the world is the classroom in which the student learns.
